It is always good to reflect on a successful ministry experience. God’s Plan for Sharing was a success. Did we have a Billy Graham size altar call? No. Did we see thousands get saved? No. What we saw was our church get motivated and excited about loving people. For five months, individuals in our church have been praying for this ministry. On one Saturday, 76 of us took part in the largest outreach this church has ever done. On the following Sunday, we had a wonderful service. God opened a door for us to do ministry in our town. Thank you participating. Now, we are going to continue the work. We will continue to share what we believe with the world. We will continue to invite people to join us in worship. We will keep serving others and doing acts of kindness. This is just the beginning.
A Successful Mission Trip
We had a great week in West Virginia. I want to say thank you to Open Door Bible Church for hosting us and setting up the work for us. We did a lot of good work. I want to thank the mission team for all their hard work. They did a lot. We built ramps, painted, held a backyard Bible club, and served alongside a wonderful group of Christians. We will be having a share time on Sunday night during the evening service. I hope you will come and hear all the stories and testimonies of how God used us to minister to others. I want to extend a big thank you to Helen Ann Salmons and Open Door Bible Church for all they did to take care of us this week.
It is time for GPS. This is the week. I hope you are ready.

Here We Go!
Welcome to Flomaton First Baptist Church’s new website. We have officially moved into the Modern Internet Age. I hope you enjoy the new site. This will be the location for all the news and events occurring at the church. Check back often because we will update often. The staff will also be blogging from time to time. You will know who is blogging by the name on the post. I will be posting deep and shallow thoughts here. Feel free to comment. All comments are welcome including but not limited to: intelligent, thoughtful statements, or funny/witty statements, or questions for more info/clarification, or sarcastic remarks, etc… Please remember to keep the conversation civil!
I want to send out a big thank you to Jake Bondurant for designing the site, Dianna Bondurant for the pictures found here, and Tammy Linzy for all the hard work filling up these pages. Let us know how we are doing. We will continue to change, grow, and improve the website. Use this first comments section to talk about the website.
